Abstract:

The unique properties of topological metal/semimetals (TMs) have strongly driven efforts to seek for new topological phases and related materials. In contrast to the topological materials based on heavy elements, we proposed some topological materials consisting of light elements such as carbon and boron atoms. The light-element materials exhibit rich topological phases[1-7], such as Dirac/Weyl points, nodal lines/rings/chains, triple points, nexus points, nodal networks, nodal surfaces/sphere/tube. In these structures, the topological properties can be clearly clarified by orbital physics. In addition, we also identify that various topological phases can also be obtained by stacking layered two-dimensional nanosheets.

個人簡介:

陳元平,江蘇大學教授,博士生導師。目前主要從事凝聚態物理中的量子輸運和拓撲材料的研究,尤其在碳材料的研究中作了一系列的工作。以第一作者或者通訊作者在Nature Comm., Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Lett., Phys. Rev. B等國際重要學術刊物上發表SCI論文80余篇,研究成果兩次被Nature子刊選為研究亮點進行專題報道,被Phys. Rev. Lett.選為Editors' suggestions,二次被Nanoscale選為Hot articles,被J. Phys. Chem. Lett.選為Spotlights,被J. Phys. D選為封面。主持國家自然科學基金項目7項、省部級項目多項?;窈鮮∽勻豢蒲Ы幣壞冉?、湖南省科技進步獎三等獎、湖南省優秀博士學位論文獎、湖南省自然科學優秀學術論文一等獎等獎勵。
